Local fly shop will have sales on non current stuff. If the fly fishing shows ever happen again they’re full of close out deals.

On the bright side, they have a new mode out this year, I’m thinking of getting a pair....not that I need them with my G3’s working so well.

G3 and up Simms waders are made in the US, lower end waders are made overseas.

As stated earlier, Simms G3 & G4 Waders are made the USA, right here in Bozeman, Montana. I have two sets of G4’s, one that is over 20 years old and another brand new pair that I haven’t worn yet. They are excellent waders and Simms stands behind their product and warranty. I slipped and fell on a sharpe rock, tearing a 3” x 3” hole in my 12 year old set of G4’s, Simms looked the waders, tested them (I had field patched them and they didn’t leak for five years), then they gave me a replacement pair.

I have never regretted buying my G4’s, but then I spend a lot of time in them fishing. I know several moose hunters that use the same flight service out of Fairbanks that I use them, they wear their G4’s everyday of their moose hunts. I drop hunt with a selfbow (all wood longbow, no man made materials) and need to be extremely quite to get close enough for a shot opportunity, so I leave my Simms waders at home. I do take a set of Wiggy waders for crossing large creeks and smaller rivers.
