Comex follows the Shanghai silver market, it's $93.83 now
This is gonna be an interesting powder keg. Not to fear monger, but I'm bracing for the worst this year. Lots of political madness coupled with economic uncertainty.Rough guess, is we have about 4-6 months of this bull run, with several dips during that, before a major selloff occurs as the global economy crashes. We're at the absolute peak of an everything bubble and it simply will not last. Too many structural changes, with China on the brink of economic collapse.
What's fascinating to me about this silver run, is that it's breaking out of the structural boundaries and control mechanisms CME/COMEX have had controlling the price for decades - on top of what looks like China trying to hoard massive amounts away, even as their economy is collapsing. China and some other central banks. It's extremely interesting to try to figure out what's going on. It's a lot more than just industrial silver demand.

Same. Q1 and Q2 should be solid, but by the time Q3 rolls around I think some things should be breaking.
Translate: Assets start going on sale at steep discounts in Q3 - if your cash isn't locked up.

The words "Boreal Toad" trigger me more than it should.Well like most things I look at it differently that just investing in silver and was a inside joke about how I go about it...
I own silver claims of 11.5 ac a piece both in historic silver producing areas. With that said the silver ( as well as platinum and gold) is just a perk. They are both patented and that means I can divide them into 20 parcels and sell them off how I so choose or keep them together. With the new administration and guidance at the usfs I can do basically what ever I want in terms of making roads and improvements on and to the claims. Even across public land so already planning on the days to get the equipment up there this summer (maybe earlier as there is no snow this winter) - to make a "private" road and will gate it with a lock.. The dreaded Boreal toad and habitat is now finally taking a back seat to development! One the road is short like 400 yards the other will be improvements/building over a couple of miles w pry 2 culverts as I have to cross streams..
Went in, found the ore, and got the assay done in 4 spots each for both one is 28 oz ag ton of the other just over 30 oz ag ton. One has some gold, platinum, titanium in it but that is hard to separate.. It matches to the assay done in the late 1800's. The ore is there..
I have several others I have identified, went in found the ore, and have the assay (s) in hand.. Important that I have a relationship with the owners that I call every year to see if they want to sell. I bet I end up w a couple more that's the joke I was making.
Right now I like to ski out of one as it is 7 miles back on snow machines in the winter. It has a stream, spring, and pond.. We hope to get a couple off grid cabins on that one this summer and next. Then repeat the process. One has pretty good deer but not much above 170" so never hunted them but the do come down to the pond to drink every day..

Doubt I will "mine" either in my lifetime - as my father, grandfather, and uncles did that = sounds more romantic than it is.. We sell sandwiches and rent air bnb's to tourists.. Again patented is better than ownership as I can subdivide into 20 lots (that we will do) with no pud... Then sell them all off singularly or keep them together. That will pry be a decision for my daughters tho as again I just like the high country and gettin up there so it will be nice to pass them on to them when I am gone.
Who knows what we will do if/when ag hits $120+ a oz tho but that's a good problem to have!!
30 oz/ton in I'm assuming surface samples is no joke. Congrats and looks like beautiful area to spend time.Well like most things I look at it differently that just investing in silver and was a inside joke about how I go about it...
