The 308 is 18”. It had also been back and forth on an 18” .223 and an 18” .260 REM. No magnums.

Thanks for the details, I’m sorry to hear that.

That’s gotta be at least 10 in this thread that have failed on non-magnums with 18+ inch barrels.

Mine has about 700 rounds through it.
Probably 600 from a 26” 6CM and 100 from a 18” 6CM.
It may get tested on a fast 7-08 soon to see if it stays together.
No failures so far and it works better than I thought it would.

Mines gotta be north of 3k rounds now and still in 1 piece. Mainly 6.5cm. I might have given it the kiss of death tho. A few weeks ago, I cleaned the crap out of it. Great sounding and functioning can if it stays together. Clearly a design or weld issue tho.

It’s seems your story is the minority, but every buyer this thread can help is worth it.
