I revoted my non-failure, but,it has never seen anything more than a bolt 223, probably pushing 5.56 pressure with handloads.@Jskaanland is going to check with the tech folks, thinks they will have a backup.
im glad it blew up now, rather than on a hunt...its a race tho now to get a new suppressor. Can't decide between the Reaper or the Theorem S...

The Abel cans seem to get reviews on build quality and recoil reduction but they don't seem to be particularly impressive from a suppression standpoint.
Just had a Scythe TI catastrophic failure. If you’ve experienced catastrophic failure of the Scythe Ti, please post the following:
1. Cartridge or cartridges used with approximate round count
2. Barrel length
3. Factory ammo, hand loads or both
4. Details of ammunition
5. Details of failure (to include failure point and pics)
Is there any chance, we could organize a class action against SICO? Mine has not blown up yet, and I love the can, but knowing it is only a matter of time, sucks.
I had that same thought. Seems like alot of these cans are failing. Might try snd see if they will send my the Scythe STM instead of another TIIs there any chance, we could organize a class action against SICO?
