So are these failures with earlier models? In the first picture on the thread is was serial number 00044. I put one in jail last week and mine is 18xxx. Hoping that these issues have been figured out by now.

But this line got me thinking. Does point of impact change if you shoot with whatever is left of the failed suppressor on the rifle? Follow up shots are the trend on here. I used a couple myself this year. It would suck to lose a BOAL if Murphy struck right at the wrong time.

This would put you down in Rokslide lore for eternity.

The dude that persevered in shooting his target to the ground thru the mangled remnants of his ruined suppressor.

I tried clicking the yes box again for catastrophic failure, and it didn’t work. Maybe since I already have checked it once?
When the second can separated this morning, I took them off both rifles, screwed on brakes and continued my load work with out them and it went much better. I’m tired of getting punished and have no desire to put them back on. I’m about ready to back off the 300, maybe sell it and move on to a smaller caliber if I want to shoot suppressed

Mine is not very old as far as how long I've owned it. Not much use yet and no failure. It is marked SYT30-13XXXX
I got mine back in June, it’s SYT30-39xx, hasn’t failed yet but it’s only seen a few hundred rounds and 95% of them have been out of an 18” 6.5 creedmoor with just a handful out of my 30-06 and 308.

If these numbers are chronological then they've sold a ton of them.

For sure. I wish there was some way to know the real numbers behind this issue, like how many have been sold, how many have failed and been repaired.

I suppose I do t really care if mine fails since they will fix it but I just don’t see myself suing it on anything other than the 6.5 creedmoor so I’m thinking it probably won’t break.

I had my second one fail on me this morning, both on 22 inch Proofs chambered in 300 PRC
Temperatures were in the teens this morning and it failed on the second shot similar to how my first one failed. Scoped me good both times.

So when it failed did you notice a significant increase in recoil?

Yes! It rocked me and scoped me both times and rifle jumped out of shooting rest and had to catch it. Very loud too since I wasn’t wearing ear protection shooting suppressed

I hope it doesn’t blow up shooting a 24” 300 PRC. That’s one of the main guns I bought mine for.

I have been debating one of these to go on an 18" 6.5 PRC, and eventually a 20" 300 WSM. Hopefully they have sorted this out. The Diligent defense Ti cans also look nice
