A no for me , but my brother had one come apart last wekend. Probably only 2-300 rounds fired. Looked the one in the picture. Must be a weld issue on some.
You should log that yes in the poll for him if you can. Get the cartridge and length. iMO still good data. (If still include your no for the stats too fwiw)

Could we add where failure occurred? The photos posted suggest failures are around the 2nd baffle. Maybe a serial number to get an idea if it’s happening within a certain production range.

No

125 rounds 6.5 creedmoor 21”
125 rounds 308 18”
100 rounds 30-06 18”

As soon as my tikka 6.5 comes back from kampfeld with an 18” barrel, this will live on that rifle.

Mine is still shooting, no clue on round count, has mainly been on a 22” 25-7 prc. Black silencer shop model.

1. Cartridge: .300 PRC (approximately 3,000 rounds of 6.5 CM and .308 Win, 200 7mm PRC)
2. Barrel Length: 20 inches
3. Factory Ammo
4: Ammo: Hornady Precision Hunter 212-grain ELD-X
5. Weld failure at second weld from rear. Front end of can separated and flew 50 yards down range. No baffle or endcap strikes, bullet impact was consistent with rest of the group. Failure occured after 15 rounds of .300 PRC.
What was Silencerco’s response?

They sent me a return label and I had it back in a week, no questions asked or responses offered

Is there any data about a timeframe when the cans that have failed were made? I’m wondering if there happened to be a change in manufacturing, batch of material, etc that maybe correlates to failure?

Edit: sorry, didn’t mean to directly respond to your post with my response.

No worries. I don’t know if there’s a correlation. Mine was number 44, so very early.
