Saw a few reviews on YouTube on the new rifle and new 277 Fury cartridge. I know it’s marketing hype so far, but the idea of a 6.5lbs rifle that can fold, and push a 140gr bullet at 3k FPS in a 16 “ barrel, seems like a pretty ideal hunting weapon. Anyone else seriously considering one of these when they come out?

LGS has orders for a couple dozen sight unseen......should be interesting.

The 277 Fury would have to be tested a couple years before I'd venture into it.

Yeah as much as I like the idea of it, I’d imagine I’d give it plenty of time to see how they actually fair. I’d also guess we’d start seeing other hybrid case cartridges coming out as well , in .30, 7mm and 6.5mm.

I am not much of a rifleman and tend to be pretty meat and potatoes on calibers. I want it to be so mainstream that my local Walmart stock a couple of flavors of a caliber before I buy in.

Sig cross intrigues the hell out of me. I generally hold the view that these new designs get tweaked a bit to resolve issues with a year or two of retail release so I plan to hold off on the gun In a mainstream caliber. As to the round, I would need to see it get a lot more mainstream before I jumped in. The 6.5 creed and 308 versions could be interesting in the meantime.

Who remembers the case less “cartridge” or round that was supposed to change everything years ago. I remember it being on the cover of a magazine a very long time ago. Electronic ignition, water proof, the “ case” was the propellant, the “ case” was whitish in color. Obviously it was a flop, only time will tell if this is also.

anybody remember remington etronx.........This is what I think about when I see something new.

^^^^ Hahahah yes....

I saw a 700 etronix in the gun library maybe 5 years ago and actually considered it thinking you could probably convert it pretty easy to a standard rifle. Well after almost no research I found out you couldn't and that ammo for it was in the neighborhood of $300 per box. Bet remington and it's buyers wished they never thought that one up....
