Any feedback regarding the durability and tracking of these scopes? Sightron has always seemed like a respectable choice but I don’t know a ton about them.

I've played with a few of the S-Tac 3-16 scopes. They were solid and great for the money. I didn't drop test them. If they'd out a low profile capped windage turret on them, I'd seriously consider them for most of my hunting rifles.

I basically like the pice. I can’t bring myself to buy one because of the reticle options. Apparently the MOA reticle is too fine for hunting. The duplex isn’t unusable, but is much more challenging for wind holds.

I used one two of these for several years on a 6.5 CM and a 280 AI. They tracked extremely well and I never had one loose zero. This included multiple backpack hunts. I used them with a custom Kenton yardage turret which made for a quick dialing combo. I used the Duplex reticle as the MOA reticle was fine if using in low light. I have since moved to the SWFA 3-9x42 but those Sightrons are a good budget option.

Good scopes, track well. I have the ffp moa and under 8 power is tough to see unless I have the illumination on. As others mentioned the duplex reticle is better for hunting. My only complaint would be the massive knobs. Mine is still on my primary hunting rifle. Hope this helps, best wishes.

Unless I missed it, an eval wasn't done on the capped SPF version 3-16/4-20.
Form did an eval,on a 1x6 LPVO. I bought one based on the review. It dials well and considering it is only 6x the wind holds will be accurate if you max it out. I keep it on a single shot 223 encore. Great for pigs and being 16” barrel it is very handy.
