I'm considering buying a sightmark wraith 4k mini. I see that the low end temp rating is 32F. Does anyone have experience using it under this temp? Opinions on the scope? Also interested in a used one if anyone would like to part with theirs!:D Thanks.

The Wraith 4K Mini is a solid scope and I can’t knock it. Only complaint would be CR123S for power, plan on going through a lot of them when it’s cold or running an external pack.

Looking at the 2X or 4x model?

Some other options you might consider:

DNT Zulus: Available with an integrated LRF with ballistic calculator built in. Higher base mag of 5x. Rated to -4F and an 18650 for power. I have some time behind one, great little scope.

Rix T20: Traditional scope form factor, works a lot better on bolt guns. Touch lower base mag of 3.5x and has optical zoom that most guys like. Rated to -4F and 18650s for power. Solid scope, our prostaff guys run one of them hard and speak very highly of it.

We’ll have the T20 back in stock tomorrow. Free shipping and no taxes outside of Indiana. Rok5 will get you 5% off most items but sadly not this due to MAP.

Thank you for your response. I have a buddy that has an ATN and he gave a thumbs up to wraith mini after using it for a few hours. I am looking at 2x. I am looking for NV that I will use during the day and at this point few times at night when my buddy invites me. I am thinking right now 150 yards max distance for hunting at night. I am glad you mentioned the DNT Zulus, I really like the price point of the wraith mini and Zulus. I am not opposed to rix or ATN price point but I think the other 2 NV will fit me better at this time and I really have not seen any terrible reviews on mini or Zulus?

I’ll never recommend ATN, know too many people that have issues with them and see more ATN issues posted than any other product out there.

At 150 yards max distance the 2x Wraith is going to be a better fit for you than the other options.

5x Zulus is too much base mag in that close in my opinion, going to give you a tight FOV.
