Sig just sent me a new Kilo3k rangefinder after some internal optical component broke or fell out of alignment in my old one. Very happy with the customer service, but now I'm trying to pair the new one to BaseMap on my phone and can't get it to work.
The rangefinder shows up in the available devices list in BaseMap (see attached screenshot) but nothing happens when I click on KILO3K. Anyone run into this problem before? I was able to pair it up with the Sig BDX app without issue, but it just won't work in BaseMap.
Edit: pairing worked once I switched the rangefinder out of BDX mode. That was not indicated anywhere in the instructions. Maybe this post will be useful to someone else.
Final edit: this highly-advertised feature doesn't work in the free version of BaseMap. I already have an OnX subscription and am not going to pay for BaseMap just to test out this feature. What a joke.
