Sig cross vs Sawtooth

I bought a Cross off a member here, it came with the standard 308 barrel as well as a 16” Proof Research 308 barrel. I have an 18” 22 Creedmoor Preferred Barrel for it on order.

I plan on buying a 338 Federal probably from Straight Jacket down the road this year

I made up a couple different loads with the 168 AMAX and Varget to try out today. This was with random Winchester brass with unknown # of firings on it, standard full length size die, bullets seated to the basic 2.800" from the book and zero load development other than picking some generic "good" charge weights I've used in other rifles. 5 shots for each spot.

I could definitely tell on the last couple groups when I couldn't feel my finger on the trigger any more. Doesn't take long when it's this cold! I blew it on that bottom left group and couldn't feel how much pressure was on the trigger and sent one mid-breath.

The Sawtooth's sure are sharp looking units with that green color.

Shoots as good as she looks!

Agreed, this cold isn't very fun to shoot in at all. I got my thermal sighted in today and about couldn't feel my hands at the end.
