Sig cross vs Sawtooth

First time posting here so I hope I'm doing this right. Looking to get a new hunting rifle (whitetail and hogs mainly) and the sig cross caught my eye awhile ago. When I made up my mind to get one I saw the sawtooth series. After a lot of research I'm still unsure which one I'd rather have, the OG cross or spend the extra $$ for the sawtooth. Main reason I'd want the sawtooth is the proof barrel. I've read where some owners of the OG cross have a hard time finding factory ammo it likes. Also read where others have no problems and say it's very accurate. Wondering what your personal experiences have been with either of them. Thanks
I bought a 308 cross when it was first released, I was happy with the rifle- couldn’t complain in the least.

As soon as the proof prefits were available, I picked up a 20” 6cm. Velocity and accuracy were fantastic. My son decided that it was his rifle ..

I bought a cross trax 308 for myself, and a 16” proof 6cm barrel. Shoots just as good as the 20”

My take - If they make the sawtooth in a cartridge/ barrel length you want get it.. if not get a regular one and the prefit.. swapping relatively easy

I bought a Cross off a member here, it came with the standard 308 barrel as well as a 16” Proof Research 308 barrel. I have an 18” 22 Creedmoor Preferred Barrel for it on order.

I plan on buying a 338 Federal probably from Straight Jacket down the road this year
