Sierra Heavy TMK 6MM Testing

Pretty much!

On demand is simple. If @HuntHarder met me at the range, I would bet money "all" of his sub-10-pound hunting rifles would not shoot sub 1.5 MOA over 10 shots at 100 yards. I will be in Phoenix in July:)
You guys have the ability to shoot at Haha dont you. Be interesting if you did a sweepstakes type thing. Where people claim their on-demand accuracy then shoot. If they beat it put the on demand accuracy on the leader board if they miss put their entry in a pot or something. Give the winner something take your costs donate the rest to Foundation for Wildlife Management or something. Would give you some good data.

Popping in and out of this thread made me wonder, has anyone tried sizing down a .257” tmk?

I know it’s close to twice as much as the generally accepted jacketed sizing limits but there are some wizards here.

Seems like that would be the practicality equivalent of the "end of the universe".

Says the guy that was looking at 22/243 dies yesterday for resizing sig fury brass.

Would you all do 7 or 7.5 twist for an 18" 6 ARC shooting 95 and 107 TMK likely.

Other potential bullets if those don’t shoot well could be the standard recs around here.. 105 HPBT, 95 NBT, 103 ELDX, 108 ELDM.

I think 7 should be ok and has slight benefit of shooting even heavier bullets. 95 TMK may get 2650-2750 fps with a fairly stable powder or higher with lever. Is there a risk of over rotating the 95s? Could do 7.5 if it'd be better for the 95's and just as good for everything else

PVA Osprey if that makes a difference.
I got a 1:7 16.5" 6mm ARC and I personally haven't had a single problem. I've shot everything from 95 grain SSTs to 108 ELDMs.

Ran some errands that just so happened to be close to the range....

Knocked out a quick 10 shot.

Strongly considering getting the barrel chopped to 16" and running these 116s at 2700ish for quick drop.
Nice!

Consider putting them in a 26” at 3100fps and using the “no drop” calculation…. Hahaha. Kiddinggggg

That is a great idea, unfortunately, we don't have it set up for that kind of shooting yet.

But your idea is great for a thread challenge.
