I’ll be loading a new 6UM-40 for the first time with these 116’s as well and am probably going to start at 64gr and work up to find pressure.

I shot some 107s out of my 6br sporter yesterday. .030 off the lands with 29.5 grains of varget gave me just over .5 moa 5 shot groups.
I believe more load dev would give even better accuracy, but the bullets seem pretty easy to get to shoot.

I'll give my 6 creedmoor a try with them next. Hopefully the 116s will fly OK in it's 8 twist barrel, if not, I'll fall back to the 107s.

Might want to start lower than that if you are fireforming fresh brass to 6UM40. 64gr N570 is go-to load for the 6UM30

Yeah good point. I’ve fire-formed the brass to 40 already so this will be final load development for me.

Yep, straight from sierra. Ordered on 3/15. I received an UPS tracking number on 3/16 but it never worked. I figured they hadn’t shipped yet, and then they showed up yesterday.

I ordered direct from Sierra on 3/15 and sent an email to customer service on when they would ship. Got a shipment notification the same day as my email on 3/17. They're out for delivery today.

Couldn’t help it, had to snag a box. Might load some up just to see, but I have over 4k other bullets spoken for in what I hope are my last two 6CM/243 barrels bc I’m leaning towards 6ARC hoping the barrel lasts much longer.

But, might load some up and do like a velocity snapshot or something with H4350. Can so H4831SC & StaBALL 6.5 too if anyone wants.
