Sierra Heavy TMK 6MM Testing

With that said, they just aren’t quite stacking like the Berger’s, so I’m going to sell my remaining lot of 107’s and wait for the 116’s.
This has been my experience with sierras as well. Generally accurate enough just not quite as easy to find a good load as the bergers. Though I haven’t tried any of the new offerings

I did a little testing with the 107 in a 22" 6 Dasher today with Varget to get an idea of speed and if I'd hit pressure. Loaded COAL 2.450". Didn't have any signs of pressure, will likely load some hotter to further test

What brass are you using? I'm planning on using 107's with my 18" Dasher & Varget. Curious how much more you are able to get out of them velocity wise as well.

Threw the rifle back together today and ran out to do a quick test with the 107s. Velocity was not what I had hoped. No pressure and I'm sure I can stuff another .5 grain in there, but I think the 116s will be a better fit for this chamber.

I'm gonna load a few more, get a good zero ,and take them up to the canyon to try to stick a few sheep or pigs next week.

For the tikka guys here’s a 107 at m+ mag length. Bearing surface isn’t past neck at this length. Wonder if the 116 will be stuffed way into case or not

Waters Rifleman make a Tikka WSM 5 rd.Magazine with an Extra Long OAL of 3.07" that are also suitable for very long loaded 308 based cartridges. Looks like you need a Long Action bolt stop to make them work.
