Sierra Heavy TMK 6MM Testing

I did a little testing with the 107 in a 22" 6 Dasher today with Varget to get an idea of speed and if I'd hit pressure. Loaded COAL 2.450". Didn't have any signs of pressure, will likely load some hotter to further test

Just a tip for frankford universal seating die user. The c-clip can sometimes get bound up in the spring. But the easy fix is to find a washer and drill it out. Put it after the clip. Works great after that.

You guys need to get Frankford Universal Seating Die kit. No rings left on the bullets.

I do not like Hornady dies for a variety of reasons, but that ring is one.
If I buy this what other dies do I need to load 6 creedmoor and 22 creedmoor? Thinking 88’s and 116’s in both. Thanks. I’m new to reloading so easier the better but I want to make good reloads

I was getting those rings as well and switched to the VLD seating stem and they went away for the most part. I will still get some slight ones if I get a case with a lot of neck tension or my load is compressed.

You can use a bushing die as Axlrod said above. However, I dislike bushing dies. I would get an RCBS or Redding full length sizing die for both.

My vote is Forster standard FL resize dies for each. No need to swap bushings/expanders. Cost probably is close to a bushing die and multiple bushings and expanders.

They definitely build less pressure with their short bearing surface than the 108 ELD and 109 LRHT. I’m guessing I could add a grain of powder over those 2 bullets.

Looks promising. How do you like that Triggercam? Is it the 2.1 version?
Yeah H4350 looks really promising. This is just virgin brass and it was blowing freaking 20MPH. I just wanted to go test them.

Yeah it’s the 2.1. It’s cool. Heavy though. I don’t use it as much as I thought I would. Just trying to get some coyote kills on video. The battery died just before the last one I killed lol

If you are using bushing dies, take the expander button out. But if you are good buying 2 separate dies either Forster or Redding standard resize dies are good.

I don't reload/shoot to save money. So I have 50+ sets of dies and more bushings than I can count. :ROFLMAO:

The N555 load looks just as good to me.
