Uncovered you can pour cold water over it, I’m not patient enough to allow cooling time trying to get 20-30 round groups.

I normally just use a cover. Havnt gotten around to ordering one for mu OG65.

Today it was especially bad. Sun, snow, gusty wind, humidity in the air. Was a crappy day to shoot honestly.

This brass probably has 10-14 firings. I make my own brass from 6.5 creed factory loads.

I'm going to load the rest of my 107s at 40gr H4350 2.800" (6 creed)

Quick Drop friendly on 16" barrel.

Got my 107s in today as well. Will probably try these out in my 6 ARC first. Need my Rokstok to show up before I get serious with any load development though (factory Tikka stock is not my fave).

Right on, I’ve found pulling the seating stem and wrapping a bullet in a small piece 3m 400grit sand paper, or some valve lapping compound, to work well. I prefer sand paper as it’s easier and I still shoot the bullet. I’m sure lapping compound is more precise, but it take a couple sacrificial bullets.

You guys need to get Frankford Universal Seating Die kit. No rings left on the bullets.

I do not like Hornady dies for a variety of reasons, but that ring is one.

Also,Hornady makes a couple different seating stems for A-tips and Eld-m's & x's That don't leave any marks on long bullets.

107 TMK touching lands in a .183 freebore 6CM at 2.922”. I know we’re not to supposed to care about jump, but I wouldn’t go straight to 2.800” COAL for a .120 jump right out the gate. I’d be testing them seated as long as you’re comfortable with personally.

I'm gonna try them at 2.9" off the bat. I didn't hit the lands till 2.98" ish (.210 FB).
