looking forward to itThat’s next.
H1000 too??? I have a bunch of H1000 and H4350.That’s next.
I'm on my second 8# jug of H4831sc in 243's & 243 AI w/CCI 250's and 105 grain bullets. It gives me 80-100 fps more than H4350 and shoots better than any powder I have tried in those guns. (it's my favorite in 280AI & 416 Rigby too).@Formidilosus any thoughts on 4831sc for these using a 243?
H100 is on the top end for burn rate, but works well. That's what I'm using in a 243 Improved. Probably start around 46 grains and work up. Theoretically, it should allow for much longer barrel life.H1000 too??? I have a bunch of H1000 and H4350.
That's definitely one of the considerations I'm looking at.H100 is on the top end for burn rate, but works well. That's what I'm using in a 243 Improved. Probably start around 46 grains and work up. Theoretically, it should allow for much longer barrel life.
Weather and temperature.Yes…but as I understood it he’s talking about a given time of year at a given low elevation with shorter distances. In every other instance, stability would increase. So if the guy wants to see if they’ll work for down in the mangroves, that can be seen easily.
It isn’t as though he’s shooting at 5000 DA all year long then taking trips to Florida and worried about it. That would be different. If that’s the case, then my apologies.

Usually 500-1500ftWhat is your elevation?
Sorry to say, I very much doubt they will stabilize.Usually 500-1500ft

Personally, I'm too lazy to have winter and summer loads.

My Hornady "custom grade" die smushes the bullet a little.
They must be pretty soft bullets, I noticed a little ring on mine with fairly light neck tension. Long nose on these guys.
Going to load up 50 at the same charge and give them a go. Need to get a cover for my suppressor before doing any more group work.
