Sierra Heavy TMK 6MM Testing

10 deer today. All bullets exited. They are performing as expected.

Pics of the wounds?

They seem to perform better than the dtacs on deer? I only had a sample size of two with the dtacs on deer. They definitely worked leaving nothing wanting. From 25 yards and 450 with the 6UM.

Just curious to see how your larger sample size compares.

Yes. But will take a few days to collate.

Yes. The NR DTAC’s do well at impact velocities on deer, they have long neck lengths at medium and low impacts.

There's some tradeoff. Single vs double base powders, 540 will gain some speed, but probably be a little less temp stable.

N150 is extremely consistent, if a touch slow. Very very popular with competition shooters in some of the 6's.

Actually the N5 series powders are more temp stable than the 1 series.

How are their double base powders more temp stable? The 1 series is single base. I don’t have any stability issues with the 5 series I really enjoy them but have always known it to be the exact opposite of what you wrote.

This came from the words of the mouths from the manufacturer.
