Shunning techology in the field.

Good responses, I am curious about just how much we rely on technology while hunting , hiking or life.
Perhaps it is my age but I see these advancements come with a price of less awareness, less intuitive response to any situation. Listening to your gut.
I would miss the uninterrupted, stillness, silence, peace etc.
