I am just beginning planning for a 2027/28/29 Moose hunt in Alaska. I am looking for a guide/outfitter that is well respected, ethical, and a quality hunter that can provide a great experience, and an opportunity on a respectable and hopefully trophy animal. I am not looking for a cookie cutter, run the hunter through the mill type of outfit, nor am I looking for a luxury outfit. I am hoping for someone that will come highly spoken of by those who have hunted with them, including those persons who were not successful. I appreciate any help that you all can give. Much appreciated!

Scott Mileur runs a good moose hunt. Very limited number of hunters taken for moose. I hunted Kodiak bear with Scott.
Cabot Pitts is another guy I know personally. I hunted the peninsula for bear with Cabot. Alaska Wild Wind Adventures
Wade Renfro has an operation that kills good moose on his guided hunts. I know one of his guides a bit.
If you are open to looking at the NWT, I have hunted with the Lancaster's at Nahanni Butte twice for moose.

i will say on the peninsula taj and tia should be bring you in good conditions with moose. they are the kids of phil shoemaker and always enjoyed discussions with the 3.

This company, though I've never hunted with them, has a great following and reputation: Tyrell's Trails

As a note, I have had a couple clients (I'm a cpa tax accountant) hunt with him and have been overly positive. The hunter on the website with the caribou and dall is the former co-owner of the "Salida Gun Shop" here in Salida, CO... He killed a dall, caribou, and moose hunting here... I could possibly put you in contact with Marc if you PM me your information

Thanks to all those who have commented so far. I am contacting and researching your recommendations as I go. I am looking forward to more recommendations as well! Thanks!

Grizzly Skins of Alaska
Top shelf - Taj, Tia, Rocky and Phil Shoemaker.
Great animals and definitely not cookie cutter.
Taj and Tia who have taken the reins, grew up on the peninsula and were mentored by one of the best .
Ethical, hard working, talented guides and pilots.

Sorry, I deleted the post.

He is currently working on becoming a registered guide. I believe he will have enough time by the end of this year.
The op said 2027, 2028, 2029 season and I know this guy will be guiding moose by then.

My apologies.

This guy might be worth looking into. He is young, motivated, in great shape and a lot of hunting experience. He recently moved to Alaska to become a full time guide. I’m not sure how many moose hunts he has guided but he will have plenty under his belt by the time you are planning your hunt.
Ummm that guy isn’t even a registered guide. 😆

Tracy Vrem with Blue Mountain Lodge has put people on trophy Moose for a long time. I have a buddy who has guided for Tracy for 10+ years. They run a great outfit.
