I'm looking for an aftermarket grip for an older bow (Mission Ballistic).
Ideally it would have a Torqueless like my other bow but he never made one for this model and now he's retired and closed the shop.
Shrewd makes one but only in aluminum which supposedly gets cold. Is that really that big of a deal? It gets cold during deer season in Oklahoma but not Minnesota cold.

I use to hate cod grips. Not something I have dealt with for a while.

For shooting/accuracy i don't know if its a big factor. Considering a cold shot in a hunting scenario.

For comfort of carrying or holding a bow, it use to get at me.
Aluminum is probably not as bad as the old magnesium bow risers tho.

I may just go commando and take the rubber grip off and shoot it.

You could wrap it in sports tape or if you want to get really fancy go to a hockey pro shop and pick up some Lizard Skin (rubber tape for hockey sticks... I believe they actually make a bow grip version now). I like the Lizard Skin better than the fabric tape because it grips better and doesn't absorb moisture.
