I'm looking at getting a new rifle and trying to decide between 7 PRC and 6.5 PRC. Just not sure if I want to move to a long action, so I'm wondering if anyone in the front range area has a 7 PRC and is willing to let me tag along to test fire. I'll buy a box of ammo, shoot half of it, and leave you the other half.

Bonus points if it has a 16" to 18" barrel, double bonus if it's suppressed.

I'll bring my 6.8 Western X Bolt if you want to check that out as well.

What’s your barrel length and muzzle velocity?

The barrel is 22 inches and I'm getting 2784 ft/s with a 165 grain Norma Bonsdstrike. I'm pretty sure it will kill some wildlife at typical hunting distances.
