Ok I’ve seen enough! I’m getting one. I like the idea of the SO Silvertip but think maybe a SO 4 man or red cliff would be better for 3 guys and a stove?

3 in a 4 man is not going to make you happy.

The smaller tipi was the 4-man we sold, in favor of a 6-man.

This is an inside shot of a Luna 6 with two Helinox cots, a Helinox chair and an SO Cub stove, for use as a reference. This is supposed to be a six person shelter, but unless you’re a hobbit, I don’t see this happening.

This is a really great thread with some awesome photos. If I could trouble everyone for one just one thing. Could you please post the make / model of your tipi for those of us who don't know all the makes and brands? It would be really helpful as I'm personally trying to research and choose a new set up for future hunts.

I'm also going to buy either a 4 or 6 man tipi. Only 2 going this year but I want the flexibility to have 3 so I may go with the 6 depending on the weight difference. I have a question for those of you who've had experience in the snow. Does the snow soften or melt overnight enough where it refreezes during the day and it's like an ice skating rink inside when you get back from hunting?
