Should I size up in a Eddie Bauer puffy?

I am about to pull the trigger on an Eddie Bauer Puffy while they have 50%.

Ive never used one and am wondering if I should size up for layering underneath? Base layer, fleece hoody then the puffy in colder weather I am wondering if I should order an XL? Then I am wondering if an XL will be too big with just a base layer in not so cold temps.

I normally wear a Larger in everything. Does anyone know how the sizing is on the EB jackets?

I just bought a EB down puffy with hood in the Camo in 2xl on sale for 80 regularly 150. I fully expect it to fit any layers I may need underneath whether in my tree stand hunting whitetails in January or when we go to Colorado elk hunting next year. For reference I am 6’2 and 273lbs. 50 inch chest and 40” waist.

I just picked one up used on here and it fit great. I would say they run a little big, which worked out great for me .
