All factory Howa Mini Actions are detachable magazine fed. There are aftermarket solutions for those who want BDL type bottom metal.

Hopefully that means the barreled actions will be available with the sporter weight barrels. If not, I'll spend the money to get one with the wooden stock. The stock should have some value in the 2nd hand market over the Houge stock.

I like the 22” sporter. With Lever and 108, my load approaches medium light 6 GT loads.
