We have been using the men's Black Diamond trail ergo cork.
They have been great, and my theory was even if we don't need the length they would be stronger because they over lap more.
I know they make a womens version that is a couple inches shorter.

My problem is mostly with my wife. When they are on her pack they stick up and hang her up alot.
Mostly archery elk hunting.

Id like a more streamline setup for both of us when they are on the pack.

So I'm looking for quality poles, most likely the ones that pull apart and fold in thirds.

Peax?

Seems like I remember the BD version not having great reviews.

Thanks

I have the Costco cork handle but they measure 26” compacted, ideally I would find a 23” compacted pair so they didn’t stick above my pack.
Sissy stix are 24.5”, the argali are 25” I think and black diamond makes some that are 23”.
I don’t trust the tent pole bungee type. Maybe I need to see them in person but I have to pull my pole out occasionally and don’t want it coming apart.

Another vote for Leki. Had mine for 6 years, no issues, still going strong and probably will for another 6+.
