So, I have a hankering for a new magnum build. My 300wm barrel is getting close to the end of it's life and I want to start piecing my next rifle together. My goal is to have a rifle that has a barrel no longer than 22" but I can push the 230gr bergers to approx 3100fps. Is that possible? If so, what caliber am I after? I'm thinking a 300 norma improved would do it, but I have no experience with it. Also, I really don't want to fire form brass. I reload but I hate dealing with that, so if there's anyway I can buy pre-formed brass that is preferred. I've also considered a 300 terminator and I know DE sells pre-formed brass.
