Shop made thumper

Made this today for myself after seeing the VPA ones, just sharing. Was aiming for 175g, but ended up 173 something, so I have something to blame missing on.

Looks great. Those VPA heads are sweet, they fly perfect.. squirrels are tough critters, best small game tip you can get.. in my opinion.

Ha, I bet. I've been out using this one for a week...it works ok. Covid has me saving $, maybe I can try the VPAs next year.

Very handy work though, I went squirrel hunting with bow yesterday.. taking .22 today.. that will silence their laughter.

I have a few VPA thumpers but like the ACE Hex better. I make up the glue on ones and put 2 pcs of inch long weedeater line 90deg from each other thru the head. Doesn't get lost in the leave and grass.
