Shooting lead through cans

Small disclaimer at the bottom saying not to shoot lead through the Omega 300…

Talking with the salesmen, he said it’s okay…


Is this a general warning? Is this for most suppressors?

I’m obviously going to avoid it until reaching out to SilencerCo but curious if others already sought this out.

My experience with lead is limited to rimfire suppressors (which are usually designed to be easily cleaned). Based on the amount of lead I have cleaned out of those, I certainly wouldn’t recommend firing cast bullets through a center fire can.
