Shooting glasses

Any recommendations for good, clear shooting glasses? I have worn cheaper safety glasses in the past but admittedly don't use them as regularly as I should because of the low quality. They get throw in the shooting bag, get beat up, and become almost unusable.

I was talking to my dad who had a shotgun blow up on him back in the day and it scared me straight.

I use a cloth glasses baggy for mine to reduce scratching. Some mid level sunglasses come with the bags.
Other than that I tent toward 3M products and have sets all over the place.

Thanks guys. Looking for something beyond the Home Depot safety glasses but more approachable than the almost ridiculously priced Pilla.

Roka seems to make some good balistically rated clear options but are a bit more than I was thinking at $165.

Looking for the 223, trijicon, rokstock type recommendation on shooting glasses if it exists.

I'm a big fan of smith's protective eyewear. Have multiple pairs and you can add prescription if needed. I sometimes look like a nerd during hunting season wearing the prescription pair so I don't have to change my contacts every day.

I've been wearing ESS for many years. Their 'communicator' or 'comms' or whatever model with the thin arms have been my go to. They take up no space under muffs and are comfortable to wear. You can get them in a package of clear plus a few colors and they're easy to swap.

I have m frames from oakley. Theyre clearer than $15 glasses but not 10x better like the price. For me theyre clear enough i can wear them all day at 3 gun matches where theyre required on the sidelines. I keep mine in a glasses case. A half decent case makes the $15 glasses last so much better that might be good enough for you.
