So i did some "googling" on who Art Laha is/was (I hadn't heard of him previously). It sounds like was instrumental in getting a bow-season started in Wisconsin (though I doubt he used two arrows): http://www.bowhuntershalloffame.com/members/lahaart/index.html
But, seriously I agree with stonewall. I looked up Art LaHa ( because I thought it sounded like Art LaHaHaHa....). It seems he was kind of a badass, he's in the Bowhunting Hall of Fame with Fred Bear. And he hunted Grizzlies and Polar Bear with Trad gear. I guess the two-at-a-time idea was like the OverDraw arrow/rest idea. Popular in some circles, then died out.
