I did some searches but I guess nobody's using this stuff, probably a reason for it? I know BH209 is the gold standard, but I'm curious since I can't find it in stock anywhere looking for 8 months now and need a new credit card to pickup a 1/2 lb of it what the next best options for loose powders are. This stuff claims it's not very corrosive and it's clean. If I can't get a hold of BH209 I would most likely to to 777, curious if anybody have any data or opinions on how corrosive the Shooters World Multi Black is compared to 777?

This comes up frequently. Guys are always looking for an alternative. I don’t know anyone who uses it. And I haven’t tried it. I’m happy with smokeless, B$209 and 777. I firmly believe, 777 is the next best sub to B$209.

Hodgdon is supposedly releasing a new lot of B$209 later this summer. And, the patent on it expires next year so fingers crossed that there will be an alternative with the same formulation next year.
