August 1-5 you say.. that means we get to help @B_Reynolds_AK spot and pack his ‘25 sheep immediately after right? I could get down with that.

I have never been to Alaska, but would like to go. I'd go from a 50% interested to a 80% interested if there were something I could hunt before/after. I don't know enough about locations in AK or the tag system to have a clue if that is feasible.

If anyone has knowledge and willingness to send a PM, that might get another person (me) in the mix.

It’s Alaska. Logistics & weather are never easy to navigate . Glad you’re in.

I should have been more clear, sorry. Meant as in, I can fly into anc or fai and get a rental/carpool without needing 2 bush flights to the end location, sort of thing. It’ll definitely be rental car accessible and pretty much equidistant to both ANC & FBX, if it happens at a spot we’re looking into.

If you like fish you could get some fishing in. I'm more familiar with charter fishing from Kodiak (silvers might be around the island then, probably kings too along with the normal halibut, ling cod, rock fish, and pacific cod) but there are charters out of the mainland areas and also river fishing around then I presume.

I would be down for a next year one (maybe a July one?), and my slope schedule allows. Little close to 10th, as we fly out for hunts the 5th.
