Has anyone ordered Sheep Feet using the new method where you use your phone to take scans of your feet? Even better if you can compare the end product versus the previous iteration where you took molds of your feet. I've been considering trying these for a while but am more skeptical of the new scan method. It would seem to me the molds would be more accurate with respect to showing how your feet hold weight and where pressure points are, etc.

I tired the scanned insoles that superfeet offers and they didn’t fit at all. I did a much more expensive version at a foot doctor and while heavy and very expensive they fit great. In the end I’ve ended up just using superfeet green high arch in everything I have. They are lighter and ultimately soft enough to semi mold to your feet.

I ordered the Sheep Feet insoles last year using the new scan tech, but don’t have the old imprint models to compare to. I honestly don’t love my Sheep Feet and don’t use them. It could be my feet, as they are very flat with a wide instep area, but I had to send the first set back that they made, because they were very narrow. They remade them wider which made the instep wider but them the heel was wider and hard to seat. If you look at the hard plastic orthotic part of SheepFeet it’s the same width the entire length, where my feet need the orthotic to gradually widen from heel to instep. I have a pair of orthotics made by a local place that did have me stand on a form and they are better than the Sheep Feet for me.

I us d the scam option when I got mine last year. I had my wife help me with it. I'm not in love with them. It kinda seems the arch is in the wrong place. I know people say you have to use them often to get your feet used to them. But I find my self going back to other insoles. I don't know if the box imprint version would be better or not.

I’m not real impressed with mine either. Don’t seem to be near as precise as my orthotics from the podiatrist. I just keep them in my boot foot waders now.
I have since discovered Foot dynamics in Boise where you can go get custom orthotics made for not much more.

The podiatrist i see used the foot scan way on my insoles for a different brand and i am not a fan either
