Man there definitely should be! Keep all us weirdos in one place. Shed season is the best time of the year to be in the woods. Can’t wait!

I'd say it's odd, worriesome even lol, if a guy isn't interested in sheds. I think most guys don't because of time constraints. But to not even be interested in em, just weird lol

I support creating a shed sub. Who doesn't like looking at sheds? I also agree to give them space on the winter range and wait until the appropriate time before getting out there and looking. We need more ethics in shed hunting and I wish they'd start teaching that in hunters Ed more considering how popular it is now.

Crazy thing was he was super young that year too! Picked up his set the next year and he put even more mass and length on.

I live in Blacktail country so I usually spend this time of year pokin around for Lions or canines, my Blacktail spots they just adjust elevation as needed no real wintering areas (in my places anyhow) so I don't bother lookin for their sheds, I just find em once in a while when scouting/checking cams. I head up for Mulie tine to the interior starting in April. I'm up in BC but i've seen the crowds in some of the Western states down there where they make people wait and things sem like they can definitely get crazy!

Some are not a fan of shed hunting, that is fine, more for me It has been one of my passions for 3+ decades. You don’t walk enough and learn their habits, you don’t find them unlike hunting they never come to you my 4legged mountain boy are off covering ground in 2025. Hey man! I recently moved to the mountains (from Denver to Vail area) and I'm always looking for excuses to explore more. Typically turkey season distracts me but it seems like there are going to be a lot more sheds than turkey in my backyard now. I have a wirehaired pointer griffon that hunts upland well. Any tips or recommendations on getting him into shed hunting? He has at least 2 sets of sheds he's always gnawing on that I pick up for him throughout hunting season so I think the natural interest would somewhat be there and he loves getting out into the wild for anything (fishing, hiking, whatever).
