That's cool some States have patches for that, MI doesn't. Well didn't when I or my kids took it.

I don’t know about now, my boy will be taking it this year. But I thought I got one back in the day. I’ll have to do some looking around.

Like that New Mexico patch.

Have the exact same one. From 1985 I think?
Believe mine was from 87? I have the certificate as well. My mom framed it all for me? Lol. I don’t believe my daughter got 1 when she passed the class

I took hunters ed in 1989. This isn’t my original patch but I found a cool website that puts random old patches on new hats and when I saw it had to buy it

This patch is 44 years old. I was 15-16 years old.

We shot a NRA sponsored four position style format (sitting/kneeling/standing/prone) with competition .22 rifles in the school gym as a team.

I made it to my 9th level as a Sharpshooter with one more event to qualify for Expert level but I got bored. But it definitely made me a very good marksman.

Sometimes just for fun we would light farmers matches at 50ft with the bullets.

Oh the good old days

I’ll have to see if I can find mine. It would have been from about 2002 and Washington state. Pretty sure I still have it.
