Sevr mechanical broadheads

The wife is shooting a 400 spine victory rip xp weighing in at a whopping 312.8 grains with a sevr 1.5 out of a 47# 29” Mathew’s lift. Full pass through at 37 yards Colorado mulie.

After reading all this again, I can’t help but notice that not one person said that they lost an animal because of a Sevr. Didn’t like the penetration or thought the blood trail should have been better, but not one lost animal.
I’ve had good luck with them and have had bad blood trails with fixed heads. Just my observations.
I’m shooting 66# with a 28.5” draw and a 540 grain arrow this year for a March hog hunt and a June bear hunt. Using the new 1.75 Hybrids. I’ll let y’all know how they work. Trying to decide if that’s going to be my elk hunting setup or possibly a little lighter arrow for better flight.

I was stuck using one mechanical head from here on out would be the 1.5 hybrid, I wouldn't be missing out on anything

This past year was the first time ever using mechanical broadheads and I can say that the Sevr 1.5 hybrid will be riding in my quiver for this upcoming season as well. The picture is of the exit on a bull that was shot at 40 yards. Complete pass through with 28" DL, 440 gr arrow going 280 FPS. First bull I've seen drop within sight. He went 30 yards and tipped over.

The blood trail was like a murder scene.
