So i spent a few hours at the archery shop today shooting different bows and finally settled on one, ended up ordering a Hoyt Charger in Max 1 camo, 27 inch draw and 70 pound weight. Now i need to figure out how to set it up, ill be shooting a scott release, and a tight spot quiver. Since i saved some money on the bow, im looking for suggestions on sights rests and stablizers, then ill start looking at arrows. thanks in advance, Daniel

Montana Blacks Gold site (Options are endless!), B-Stinger (If you plan to even use one) Stab, and Gold Tips with some Trophy Taker broadheads up front!

I'm really liking my Black Eagle Carnivores.. I finally switched to a limb driven rest (TT Smackdown) after using QADs & Ripcords for years.. One of the best changes I ever made! I also agree on MBG and B-Stinger, my favs as well

This worked well for me: Spott Hogg sight, trophy taker rest, and a doinker. But there are so many options out.

Many good options and a few great ones.... All your own preference. Currently I am shooting a MBG accent for my sight. A B-stinger stab. Vapor trail rest and Easton axis arrows with slick tricks up front.

for sure, choose a rest that doesnt pull the cord tight at full draw. get one that goes the opposite way. starts tight, and loosens up when you draw.

i read somewhere the cord puts a fair amount of weight/torque on the "down" cable. i had a bow shop look me in the eye and tell me they set the pull cord perfect so it sees zero load at full draw...as an engineer i wanted to line them all up for a big STOOGE slap.

go with a limb driven type rest. you can set it up partially blind!! i love mine. i chose the Axion Pulse..but all of them rock. i played with a bunch of the..i wanted the trophy taker smackdown pro..they were sold out.

it seems to be a pretty good choice to go with the limb driven rest, im leaning towards the vapor trail just cause im familiar with it, as far as the stabilizer goes im gonna shoot the smallest one i can accurately. hows the durability of the black gold sights, im thinking of either the spot hogg hunter hogg it or one of the mbg. As far as arrow, i think im gonna try a easton axis 340 cut to 28 with a 125 gr slick trick

I think both MBG and Spot Hogg will be about the same durability wise, they're the best 2 manufacturers out there. You really can't go wrong either way.

What finally sold me on the limb driven rest is if something happens in the back country and you snag the rest string on a tree limb or something and break it, all you have to do is tie a new string on or a shoe lace or w/e. There's no timing. If you break the cord on a cable driven rest it's time to pack it in and go to a bow shop. Obviously this is pretty rare but definitely something to keep in mind.

As far as arrows go just make sure you have a high FOC and you should be good to go.

Everyone has their opinion of what is best. But I would go with a spot Hogg sight and a hamskea versa rest. The versa rest is the best rest made. Very very high quality and bombproof. Can be used 4 different configurations.

S&S has 15% off right now store wide. I just placed an order for my third Spot Hogg sight, you can't go wrong there.
He also carries Vapor Trail rests and some B stinger stabs. You could save a good chunk of money on that order if you get in on the Black15 sale. Just a heads up.

Shooting a spyder 34 and really liking my NAP apache. Smooth, quiet, and I'm shooting it much better than the WB I had on it.
