Has there been any Tract products that passed the drop test? I really enjoyed my binos from them. I have been considering
-tract toric
-maven rs1.2
-nightforce SHV 4-14
-trij HX
Ideally I’d like capped elevation and windage, as I don’t need to dial. Is there anything that exists like that? I know the tract toric 1” hunt 3-15 has that.

really just looking for a “set and forget” durable, reliable scope.

I like my 4-14 f1 shv for hunting and you can get them around $800 used now, capped windage but not elevation. Just wish it had the mil-c reticle.

I think the rs1.2 has been priced out of the market that made it so popular.

If absolutely not wanting a turret, I’d likely go with one of these.

I did a review on a turreted version of that scope, and it did very well. You can find the review here on Rokslide. A Nightforce SHV is another worthy of consideration, but the glass on the Torric will be better.

I have not tried a 1” Toric, but have read that it did not hold up to the drop test.

Never seen a tract scope, cant comment there. But afaict none of the other scopes you mentioned meet your criteria of a set it and forget it scope. If that's what you want, IMO a NF SHV 3-10 (now NX6 I guess?), S&B Klassik (which IS available with both capped elevation and windage) or Trijicon Huron/credo/accupoint are the most likely to be reliable options that meet those parameters. I own an S&B 3-12 and several different trijicons (huron, credo and accupoint 3-9 and 1-6) and have been happy with those, and they have all held zero to the nearest click over multiple checks and long periods of time with rough handling.
IMO--assuming its for big game--nothing higher magnification than 9x or 10x on the high end is helpful in a point and shoot scope. Varmints, targets, maybe some extra magnification is helpful, but for this style scope at point-and-shoot ranges for deer+-sized animals the additional magnification above 10x or so is more of a liability than an asset.

I have 2 Tract 3-15's and couldn't be happier. Great glass and tracks/holds zero like a champ.
Had a question on the zero stop one Saturday, emailed Tract and was on the phone w one of the owners in 15 minutes.
