Thanks! Last season was a disaster and the bear spray (which my wife urged me to take in addition to the .45 will not be on my pack this year) got caught on my seatbelt harness and ripped the safety off and sprayed it as I was trying to refill my water bladder.
I had cows trample my camp multiple times, rain for most of my hunt, my dumb self screwing up my best bull encounter, and a squirrel taking off with my cooler drain plug. After all that I had hope on my last day with a frosty clear morning…. And then bear spray .
2023 went better. Still had cattle destroy my camp multiple times but no bear spray. Saw several bulls and unfortunately stuck two twigs into one and never found it. Tag soup is still tag soup even if you notch it.
