Selling Used Suppressor in 2026?

I’d imagine the prices they pay are based on what is selling. The scythe is massively popular everywhere but rokslide so they probably realize that buying bunch of 400-500 dollar scythes and selling them for 7-800 is a good idea.

Unknown munitions seems big on rokslide but I don’t believe it’s nearly as popular elsewhere, they probably have some brand new unknown silencers that havn't been big sellers so they don’t want a. Inch of used gen1 obsolete models tying up space and money.

I’ve only seen the UM stuff talked about here on rokslide and on the rare occasion I see somebody on Facebook talking about them….its a rokslider asking the same question they asked on RS.

At the end of the day, UM is a small company that just started making silencers and they aren’t competitive with the big names in terms of sales volume.
That’s good info. But I was more asking why some people get $x offers for their OGs while others are getting $y offers for the same silencer.

Probably just timing/inventory. Who knows, maybe they have a scoring chart to determine price and it's all subjective based on who is doing the evaluation.

It must also be based somewhat on what is and isn't selling right? If they have a pile of OGs and nobody is buying them, they probably don't want to sing much money into used ones. I see the scythe go in and out of stock, say what you will but those things are selling like crazy, it might make more sense for them to have some used ones on hand.

The offers I've seen here for scythes are also not very consistent I was offered over 500 for mine while other guys got offered 400. I also think trading in is going to be the way, I looked at the suppressor classified ads just a few minutes ago and there wasn't a single silencer there priced in a way that would make me bite. Maybe I'm th odd man out but used is used, so unless something is priced well, I'll just buy a new one. I mean why buy something that may or may not get warrantied and you have no history of for 900 bucks when you can get a brand new one for 1000?

Yes, then, if you accept the offer, it can take up to two weeks for them to send the paperwork.
Yes they took so long getting things going with me that I just sold to another person (and got more money). After that they finally started sending me a Docusign every night, finally I had to call them and ask them to stop sending me the Docusign. The lady seemed annoyed that I’d expressed interest in trading in them backed out. I told her that if they had gotten me the paperwork right away I’d have just signed it and been done with it but since they were dragging their feet o went another direction.

Honestly, I just wanted to get rid of the thing, I was worried they would get too many scythes and I would r be able to unload mine.
