Selling Used Suppressor in 2026?

I knew the US Og-30 was bad, but holy balls. 0 interest on here trying to sell mine 30% off new. Capital armory offered $200. Can is pretty much brand new. Terrible resale value apparently. Guess it'll live on a .223 at this point.

On a serious note I cannot decide if selling a tbac u7 gen 1 is worth the hassle or just keep it around for a spare.

I thought it was funny when I got my og65, it says something like “char the tone not the decibels”…what are they saying??? Don’t worry about how loud it is, pay attention to the tone bro….

Nope, capital armory is just doing this to be nice. They will sell them for exactly what they paid for them.

They offered me 525.00 for mine, I have no another direction.

I'm guessing once they get an OG or 2, they don't really have a need for another. US is relatively Unknown, the OG was quickly replaced by a better version, db #'s aren't great. It all adds up to a small offer. I doubt it was color/condition related. Mine is cerekote black, with a cover, no scratches and no signs of use. I could probably sell as "like new" and most couldnt argue. Suppressor market is being flooded right now as well, with tons of new offerings each month.

I’d imagine the prices they pay are based on what is selling. The scythe is massively popular everywhere but rokslide so they probably realize that buying bunch of 400-500 dollar scythes and selling them for 7-800 is a good idea.

Unknown munitions seems big on rokslide but I don’t believe it’s nearly as popular elsewhere, they probably have some brand new unknown silencers that havn't been big sellers so they don’t want a. Inch of used gen1 obsolete models tying up space and money.

I’ve only seen the UM stuff talked about here on rokslide and on the rare occasion I see somebody on Facebook talking about them….its a rokslider asking the same question they asked on RS.

At the end of the day, UM is a small company that just started making silencers and they aren’t competitive with the big names in terms of sales volume.

So after reading this I reached out to Capital to sell my Scythe. Any recommendations for something comparable that doesn’t make me think it’s gonna shit the bed when I use it ?

Doesn’t have to be the best, just something for my 7 Saum folder with a 20 inch barrel that takes the bite and bark down.

I have a Dominus on my 20” 7saum. Zero complaints. That being said, my next suppressor will be an airlock.
