Selling Used Suppressor in 2026?

I’ve got a tbac 338 ultra gen 1 that’s never been on a gun that in probably not going to use now.

Questions:

1) Can a SilencerShop Kiosk be used by an individual to input their fingerprints in order to get their info uploaded to purchase from another individual?

Ie. Use the Kiosk to upload prints, SilencerShop website to obtain Form 4 and then buy a private suppressor utilizing the ATF Eform process.

2) Does CLEO information always need to be entered as well, both for transferring to a FFL/SOT or an individual?

I can answer #2, yes, for the entity receiving the transfer. Have that info prior to completing the form. Though you can also save the form as a draft card come back later.

I will admittedly say, I need to watch their video…but I started one to sell one to someone. It got to the point where it was needing his information. I don’t want that information of theirs. How do you go about them entering their data and me entering mine?

1. The way you worded it. I think the answer is no.

If ss can be used as sot for a transfer then maybe, but that wouldn't be free. If it's going to an sot that uses ss, same.

But not individual to individual.

You can order some FD258 fingerprint cards, scan them yourself at 600dpi and email them to national gun trusts for a .eft for around $30. Or you can get the cards and everything from them and mail them in for like $45.

SS will not give you access to your .eft. some say there is hack where you can pull it off your eforms account when you do a FORM 1 through them, but I haven't done that myself.

This is why I went the UPS store route. Now that I have my digital fingerprints I can do the form 4’s myself for individual to individual(in state) without a kiosk.

And for group buys or out of state purchases I can use any SOT and just upload my fingerprints

I knew the US Og-30 was bad, but holy balls. 0 interest on here trying to sell mine 30% off new. Capital armory offered $200. Can is pretty much brand new. Terrible resale value apparently. Guess it'll live on a .223 at this point.

I just recently explained this to someone else. It’s going to hurt feelings but it’s reality.

Used is used. Whether it’s 1 round or 1,000 (not to mention that there’s no way of verifying it) and most manufacturers of them don’t have a position on if they’ll service or warranty one acquired secondhand.

Used suppressors are typically bought and sold at minimum 30% below current street price.

Not what was originally paid for them, unfortunately, and this is to reflect the above items already mentioned.

Recouping only 50% of what you originally paid is pretty common.

Older suppressors become worth exponentially less as newer ones are released that outperform them.

Yeah. Seeing Scythes with thousands of rounds get offered 500+ from Capital, then them offering $200 for an OG was a little shocking. Maybe because US is truly unknown. 20% of original value less than a year ago is quite the drop.

It’s more that US just announced that a new, better version comes out June 1.

And, your price is too high.

And all you guys just couldn’t help yourselves with the excitement. Omg it’s going to be amazing. Group buy. Yay! Its form approved! Yay! It’s got great “tone”! Yay!

Oh wait, it sucks and they already replaced it. 😂

US should be offering discounts for anybody that bought the first generation.

Mfr!, 😆 Don't remind me. The kool aid was super green when I bought it. 🤣 Live and learn...

The og65 seems ok so far though.

Sold a 2nd suppressor and did the Form 4 on my phone just now. It’s kinda crazy how easy this is now. Sucks we have to do anything at all, but this is a vast improvement.
It really is amazing huh? I’ve done a few now, takes minutes, and I’ve had zero issues with approvals.
