Selling Used Suppressor in 2026?

Pretty sure you have to go through the entire process to changes trusts, even if you control both trusts. No different than selling to another person.
I could be wrong, but the trust is only sent to the atf upon a new submission. Other than that, it’s a document you keep and have notarized. I believe it’s a bit of a “loop hole” in that you can add/ remove people without doing anything other than notarizing signatures on the documents. Now if someone is added and you submit a new item on the trust, they have to include everything.

He was stating to transfer from one trust to another, which is a transfer of ownership even if the same person is the settlor and trustee.

Example, I have a muffler in ABx Trust, and want to move it to CBx Trust. This requires a new tax stamp.

I have a dead air sandman s, a rugged radiant 7.62, rugged razor 556 that I’ll sell for dirt cheap. I’d sell my OGs as well since they are 30 cal and I want lighter and cal specific.

There's no dispute in that, but it would be a free process come Jan 1

I understand with a transfer from one owner to the other, a form 4 and stamp are needed. I have one can not on my trust and I will be moving it to my trust come next year. If it takes a while, who cares, I have possession the whole time.

What state are you in?
Dunno if it helps but just this month we got approval for our FFL and will have our SOT in April - assuming that paperwork goes as smoothly as our FFL stuff did...?
