I recently bought a new 5th gen cummins and it's time for my trusty 3rd gen to go on to a new owner. I have it posted on FB marketplace and offer up. Does anyone know of any other good places to post a truck up for sale or is FB the only show in town now? Craigslist seems pretty dead to me.

If it’s in good shape it will sell quick. Clean, low mile 3rd gen’s are still brining 30k plus depending on your location, some even over 40k if it’s super low miles and in mint condition.

I hope you have great luck with the 5th gen, they are great trucks!

It's got 165k and is pretty clean. I'm looking to get 19-20k so we'll see what the markets like.

I'm in love with the 5th gen. It rides like a dream.

I had 168k on my 2006 2500 Cummins. Had a built tranny. Clean but not perfect. Sold for $25.5k a year ago. Sold in 24hrs on Craigslist.

FWIW, I deeply regret selling it.

I sold my Tundra on FB in 30 minutes. We put a test in the ad to filter out the "Is this Still Available" tire-kickers.

I already know I'm going to hate myself for selling it. I may have to try on there too then.

As a 3rd gen owner, I would not sell it just yet. Dealing with emissions is just a PIA
I paid $13,000 for mine with 129,000 miles on it and a new tranny in 2019 before the world went crazy. I thought about selling it when things were peak and making some money.
But it puts a smile on my face when I drive it.

Cargurus and cars.com provide good exposure too. Guess it depends how quickly you want to sell to justify the additional cost of advertising.

20k all day for yours if it’s in good shape with those miles. I get insane offers on mine all the time. Mostly a garage queen now with 3 kids and mini van lol. 124k on it. I put a built trans in it to handle some other goodies I through on it. I can’t ever see selling it. They are amazing trucks and platforms to build off of.

Try posting in cities near by or where you think there might be more demand. California truck might sell faster in the rust belt because of condition. (no rust etc.)

That thing is clean! I just did mild built trans in mine too. I'd love to keep it but I have zero justification and space for 2 trucks right now. In a perfect world where I had a shop to work on it I'd love to make a fire breather out of it but maybe so day with a different truck...

Keep it. I have an '03 3rd gen. Absolutely love it!!! they are a desirable truck around here. Yours should go quick even if it is priced high
