Sell Me A New Hunting Release

Thanks everybody. Mixed bag for sure. I picked up a Carter Like Mike a few months ago, shot it 20 times and sold it. Just not ready for that. I like the Scott I am using....just feeling it out and seeing what everybody else uses for hunting.

I love my Spot Hogg Wise Guy.

This is actually on my short list. One thing I noticed after using the Like Mike.....I liked the Scott Little Goose because it goes off for me pretty quickly when I try to use it with slight pressure and back tension. I have heard the Wise Guy is hair trigger.

Nock To It's should be here in about a week if you wan't to drop your email in the NockON Store.

Thanks for the heads up. I am signed up. Maybe a Christmas gift from my wife and kids.

I have shot a wise guy at the archery shop, it goes have a light crisp trigger.
My issue with most hooks is you have to push the hook closed then push the trigger forward to lock.
Seems like alot going on calling elk to myself

I'm shooting a TruGlo BOA Nitrus. I picked up my first BOA item (a pair of boots) last year and really like the system. I'm a fan of a dual caliper release and light triggers, so this fit the bill for a decent price. It doesn't seem like TruGlo gets any love here, but this release works very well for me.

Hope you picked one up the Nocktoits go super quick compared to his other releases :)

TRU Ball Fang on wrist strap. used the quickie for awhile then went to the Rx1. The problem i had with the RX1 is if you hunting an area with a lot of iron in the soil and you set your hang down or belly crawl the magnets suck up the fine iron and jam the release. The fang is a roller sear which is much more reliable when you get some grit inside the release.

Our family of, 3 Elk/ Deer hunters use,.. Carter Like Mike's and Quickie 2's LOVE em ! the amount of, Pull (release tension ) is adjustable from light to heavy depending on YOUR Spring choice and if ANY "Back Tension", is wanted.
We use some "Back Tension" pressure with our Releases, as it CURES the Target Panic, BS,.. for the most part !
3-4 pound "triggers" are what, we like ! Good luck with, your Choice !

I also love my wise guy. I bought a spot Hogg Keeton to try out, it does make pulling and holding draw weight easier but I could never find a comfortable anchor with it.
I’m selling it for $75 if anyone wants to give it a shot
