How do I get a hold of Seekins Precision customer service?
I've been calling them during business hours since Friday and no one picks up the phone. I left a voicemail and also emailed them on Friday and haven't heard back.
An Element Hunter I bought new has a few issues: ammo doesn't chamber correctly and the ejector doesn't pick the round to extract it from the chamber. Luckily, the fit of the round is so loose that tilting the gun to vertical makes the round fall off the chamber by gravity.
Anyways, I know it's been only a couple days (Fri & Mon) but I'd appreciate a way to talk to someone at least and get this resolved, was hoping to troubleshoot this quickly and get to use the gun this season.
Maybe if someone here has a direct number to contact them, you can send me DM?
Or even if a Seekins rep sees this on the forum, please reach out!

I have an element hunter I’m trying to send back for the second time with issues as well. I’ve had no luck calling them. I finally got a response after about a week the first time I sent in the rifle by email to: [email protected].

It’s been about a week since I’ve emailed for the second issue with no response. Good luck. I’m not sure if they are all out hunting or overwhelmed with customer support issues right now.

Thanks for the quick response =)
Just curious, what was the issue that you had with your gun?
One thing I'm surprised is that mine came with a spent casing, supposedly from a round fired through my gun... I'm scared the hell out of shooting through mine as is, though. With how loose-fitting the chamber is, it could be a disaster!

My original problem was heavy bolt lift and poor accuracy (2”+ groups).

They fixed the heavy bolt lift and told me the accuracy was fixed, including providing pictures of 2, 1/2” 3 shot groups. The problem is, 3 shot groups are a poor indication of how the rifle is actually performing unless you can do it over and over again. As I feared, the rifle is still shooing terrible, and perhaps worse. It put up a 6 shot 4” group with no called flyers.

ah, that's not good... my bolt does not have a a smooth feeling at all, and getting stuck/heavy when pulled back.
Just curious, what caliber did you get?

I heard back from them today, I need to send the gun back with a estimated turnaround of a month at least!

Not sure what's so great about their customer service, especially for this being a new rifle out of the box... it seems like the quality control gets delegated to the customer

Mine is in 6.5 prc. I agree, the customer service hasn’t been great. I still haven’t heard back on my inquiry after a second email sent two days ago. I know folks who have PH2s. It’s a great rifle which is why I bought mine.

I've dealt with Seekins CS in the past with general questions. Emails always quick and phone answered by a person. I contacted them by email and phone last week and tried again with both this week too. No replies at all. Not sure what changed but it's frustrating.

well, a bit of an update.... I heard back from Seekins and they said for me to send my gun back... I was getting ready to do so, and decided to try feeding rounds again. Tried cycling 40 rounds of 105 hornady black in 6mm creedmoor. Of the 40, 12 had issues. 2 or 3 I can't close the bolt on; the remainder, I can close the bolt but then the extractor doesn't pick the round and I have to shake the gun for the round to fall out of the chamber...
Of the ones that fed properly, I got the best three shot group of my life with this gun, shooting prone of a tripod, with a TBAC suppressor on, and waiting 3 minutes in between shots. Here's a picture of the target I was shooting at a range of 100 yd.
I guess I'll be sending it back after all... not sure why such a large percentage of rounds fail to extract and why I can't close the bolt on others
