Between friends and family we own close to 20 CAs purchased in the last 5 years. They are all shooters 🤷🏻‍♂️. Plus they offer an accuracy guarantee, so there isn’t any risk. Most of the bad reviews are from people who have never owned one.
I personally know of people including myself that have had bad experiences with CA

There is certainly a risk of wasting time, and FYI my #1 is a CA that shoots well, but not everyone wants a high chance of needing to ship their new rifle in to fix what should have never left the factory. Some people don't have the time or patience to make 3 or 4 trips to the range, ship the rifle, wait for it to be sent back, go back to the range again, and then, hopefully, the rifle will shoot as well as a Tikka or Kimber Hunter does out of the box. I have a buddy that bought an MPR in 300 PRC 6 months before his hunt. It didn't and doesn't shoot for crap. With a busy work schedule he didn't have the several days and dozen or more hours needed to do all the extra shooting and work with CA to fix the rifle. He wound up having to use his old rifle on the hunt.

I dealt with their customer service one time when my FFT had an overly heavy bolt lift. They sent me a label and had the gun fixed and back to me in 10 days. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I always have to remind myself when dealing with these companies that they deal with idiots on a regular basis. Not everybody is an MOA shooter and people often place blame where they shouldn’t. For example, I had a buddy that his knew rifle wouldnt shoot. He refused to believe that his Leupold Mark 5 could be the problem. He drug that rifle company through the mud, but it ended up being a busted erector in the Mark 5.

If you didn’t send your 300 prc back to have them evaluate it and make it right, that is on you.
If that idiot comment is directed at me you can piss off! The only person who is an idiot is the person who thinks ANY company can do no wrong.
I tried different high end scopes off rifles I have shot out to 1400 yards with. CA customer service was crap and I will never buy anything from them again. I am done with you as you are obviously connected to CA in some way.

Ya this is guy is obviously connected somehow. Either way I didn’t start this thread to start a fight , just wanted to hear from people who have and are using seekins … if someone has a CA that they like good for them but I won’t touch another CA

It was just a general comment not directed at anybody, but if it hit close to home maybe you need to carve out some time for self reflection. 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️

That’s enough, I didn’t start this thread to start a fight, if you like your CA , good for you but that doesn’t mean we have to . Way too many people have had similar experiences to mine , for me to even think about buying one again. But like I said if yours shoots good , good for you.

That’s enough? 🤣 Simmer down little rokslider…i shared my experience with both Seekins and CA. You don’t have to like it, but you better swap out your profile pic if you want to act like a tough guy on the internet.

Not trying to act like a tough guy , I’m just trying to keep this civil . At the end end of the day we’re all just people who enjoy hunting and shooting rifles.

He didn't didn't ask about CA in his original post, he asked about Seekins and then you got buttburt about people sharing bad experiences with CA and derailed the thread

My point was any production rifle can and will have lemons. I will never give seekins another dime of my money. Fierce also gets bad reviews. Like you said, several people started bad mouthing CA, which he wasn’t asking for info on, and I’ll I did was share some positive experiences about them. I think they are great guns and their customer service has been exceptional. I was accused of having some inside relationship with them…I don’t know anybody that works there, just like their rifles and have had good luck with them.

OPs best bet is to pick up one of the Sako S20’s from Eurooptic.

You brought up CA in your very first post!!
Do you work for Seekins? Are you offended that I had a bad experience with them? Because that was what I said in my first post. I was super bummed about it too. I have always thought the spiral fluted barrels were sweet.

Another high end factory rifle to consider is the Bergara Premier Series. Way better rifle than the imports, built in georgia and shoot lights out.

So anyways, I’ve heard of shooters shooting Factory HORNADY 180 eldms just shy of 2800 fps with the 22 inch barrel and 125 plus rounds thru the Seekins Havak!!! Seems awfully slow for Hornadys selling point of 2975 fps and a sped up barrel?? I mean does 2 inches really make the 7 PRC shoot that low?
