Seekins are some of the best production rifles you can buy, and better than some customs. They shoot, and they do it accurately. I don't have one in a 7 PRC, but I have one in 6.5 PRC and one in 28 Nosler. You won't be disappointed unless you hate light accurate rifles that you can trust.

That hasn’t been my experience. My seekins wasn’t a shooter and it got kicked down the road. But I have 6 christensens that all shoot sub moa with fsctory ammo.

Have you bought a lottery ticket lately?

Every Christensen rifle I’ve handled felt great until you try to open the bolt. Can’t stand a heavy bolt lift.

Between friends and family we own close to 20 CAs purchased in the last 5 years. They are all shooters 🤷🏻‍♂️. Plus they offer an accuracy guarantee, so there isn’t any risk. Most of the bad reviews are from people who have never owned one.

I bought a CA ELR in 300 PRC on a steal (no shit...<$1500 OTD at Cal Ranch)! Could not wait to shoot it. I did the break-in exactly (to the stroke) how CA said to. Through 40 rounds, I hated that thing. Disgusted with it. Figured out real quick that the $1500 joke was on me. Threw it in the closet for a few months.

Came back and did the final 10 rounds of break-in. The first 5 yielded similar results to the first 40. Terrible. The last 5, like magic, tightened up. Ok...maybe a shooter.

I waited for my new scope before I shot it again. Put the new Nightforce on it and went to the range this past weekend. I put 18 rounds of 212 eld-x factories through it, and was sharing holes at 200 yds.

Shot another 10 rounds of 220 ELD-Ms through it. A couple were out to 554 yds. Lights out.

Came back in to 200 yds with 2 final rounds of 212s, and was touching holes again (was actually testing scope tracking at that point more than anything). I am in love with it.

I have an elk tag for Northern AZ in December, and cannot wait to go out with it.

If you haven't got through the break-in period on the CA, I say keep at it. It could get better.

CAs are very hit or miss imo but after tons of research I found they seem to be a miss as often as a hit , and if I drop 2k on a rifle it better be a shooter

I have a 6.5 creedmoor that shoots great.
I also HAD a 300prc that shot absolutely horrendous with a lot of different loads both factory and reloads. CA customer service was worthless and rude to say the least and pissed me off enough I will never buy one again. They would never admit they could have a gun that wouldn’t shoot so I took a bath and traded it off.
So there is a bad review from someone who has/does own one.
Do most of them shoot good? probably but when one doesn’t is where their customer service is horrible.

I dealt with their customer service one time when my FFT had an overly heavy bolt lift. They sent me a label and had the gun fixed and back to me in 10 days. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I always have to remind myself when dealing with these companies that they deal with idiots on a regular basis. Not everybody is an MOA shooter and people often place blame where they shouldn’t. For example, I had a buddy that his knew rifle wouldnt shoot. He refused to believe that his Leupold Mark 5 could be the problem. He drug that rifle company through the mud, but it ended up being a busted erector in the Mark 5.

If you didn’t send your 300 prc back to have them evaluate it and make it right, that is on you.
